On 28 April 2010, Mrs. Sofia Santuccio – in collaboration with the staff of SiciliaScherma – held the first seminar “Case History: Fencing 2007/2011 – Sport as a driver for tourism” within the framework of the specialisation seminars on “Destination Management and Marketing in the field of aggregative events”. This cycle of seminars has been organised by the Faculty of Economics of the University of Catania and is addressed to students from several three-year degree courses such as Marketing and Management of tourist enterprises, Business Economics and from the 2 year degree course in Tourism Management.
